1st International Congress on Committed and Critical Education

Abstract submission


CECC2026 welcomes submissions of oral communications related to the thematic axes proposed in the congress. These may include empirical research and well-founded, scientifically updated theoretical studies. Educational experiences and examples of good practices from schools and organizations will also be accepted.

You are invited to share projects, strategies, or interventions implemented in socio-educational contexts that contribute to social engagement and educational transformation. Submissions should include justification, the main objective of the proposal, and the most notable results.

Guidelines

  • Contributions may be written and presented in Spanish, Catalan, or English.
  • Non-sexist language must be used.
  • Contributions must be submitted in full, following the preparation guidelines, by the established deadline.
  • Each author may present up to two submissions at the Congress.
  • Contributions must have no more than five signing authors.
  • All submissions will be evaluated anonymously by at least two members of the Scientific Committee (peer review).
  • The templates provided by the Congress must be used for preparing all submissions.
  • At least 50 % of the signing authors must pay the registration fee (if there is an odd number of authors, at least half plus one must register). Only those who have completed registration and payment will be allowed to attend the congress.
  • A single certificate of participation will be issued per accepted communication, including all authors, provided the communication is presented during the congress.

Publication

All accepted abstracts will be published in a Digital Proceedings Book, which will be made available via the University of Barcelona’s institutional repository under open access.
